Paradigm shifting is an old art. Barbara Hand Clow weaves the programs from ancient times into the vibrational and consciousness fabric of humanity in this one, talking about the evolution of children into the Indigo/crystal phases, the trauma fields left in our species from a huge earth shift 11,000 years ago… hard to remember huh? But we feel it.

Barbara Hand Clow spoke with us in 200. Let’s listen and reflect upon “the shift” and what actually has happened since then. Some theories are that it is now quickening after a slow start. Some say it didn’t happen. Others say there were huge shifts… what do you say?

Change the Energy… Change the Reality

The SHIFT.  It is happening, or so we hear. But what does it mean? I am looking at the egregious authority structures of corporations with all the tax and compassion evasion. That expanding stretch between the haves and the have nots and I wonder.  But I know from so many on the path that The SHIFT is happening within… within a huge number of beings in the rising frequencies of these times that sparkling through all life.

It was like that in the great Epic poem The Bhagavad Gita, when Arjuna the great warrior lead his troops against a relative who had taken power and along with it had taken lands and possessions. The story deepens us all into Arjuna’s inner battle, balanced by his wise avatar companion Krishna. As he readied for battle, Arjuna ached, “I love these people. I don’t want to kill them. How do I do what is right?”

Krishna reminds us all that the battle is inside of each of us.  A battle to revere and respect ourselves and others, to live into our dharma (our purpose for being). Which in Arjuna’s case was to be a mighty warrior on both the inside and out, and to set the country right for the greater number. Finally after wrangling within himself and with Krishna about justice, debating the real powers of truth and love Arjuna leads the battle and wins the land and possessions for his people. The country can live in joy, peace and most of all love again. Ultimately The Bhagavad Gita tells us that the true value of our lives is to experience love no matter what the external experience.

I am on a plane en route home after a tour of Costa Rica. I stayed in Ama Tierra Retreat and Wellness Center where Jill and Bob Ruttenberg are winning the battle for truth, peace, and health through nutrition and herbs, and sharing and healing. I loved the changes I felt inside and out almost immediately, as the consumer/competitive stress slid off my body/mind. Music surrounds you there, a kind of ambiance of peace. Jill plays piano and guitar. The staff keeps the casitas fresh and soothing, and the meals great. Guests enjoy trips, healing time on the biomat, daily Yoga and of course, while I was there energy readings by me!

The National constitution includes peace and you can feel it in so many environments, Even crowded ones. The frequencies flew as did my days. People smiled warmly and I noticed that many didn’t feel as frustrated as we do here in the lands of have.

My first session was a Spanish speaking young woman, the first of a number, who spoke of her dreams for peace on the planet. Being a ‘60’s activist, one of the many who stepped back after some of the iconoclastic happenings, to inner search. Who am I?  Who am I? In the mantra rhythms of Ramana Maharshi. So many of us emerged with a deepening drive for personal consciousness a la the Bhagavad Gita.

These are young ones who carry the banners of the conscious heart to studies in conflict and strategies for creating peaceful solutions. I met other students through Tara Ruttenberg, PhD student at The University of Peace in Costa Rica. At the university of Peace, a college with a mandate from the UN to promote world peace and styled or techniques to smooth troubled waters, and encourage a greater view of one world for all of us. Tara, who is the Ruttenbergs’ daughter is a staunch contributor to world peace.

I had the opportunity to speak there. A gathering of 30 or so students circled the room and we explored conflict. Basically it starts deep within. We all want to be secure. The group was vital to me with students of  many ages talking about their angst in various situations and how to resolve it, by discovering our own inner angst then working for the greater. Hard to do if we don’t balance our own.

Some of the University of Peace students are dedicated to systems outside of the global monetary controls, wanting full break down of the system that is top heavy and costing so many. More like Arjuna and his battle against dominance.

Others were working to infiltrate systems. One woman who inspired me deeply was involved in the LA banking world, banks or credit unions run by women who are helping many unravel the choking mysteries of compounding debt and school loans. She explained that these are able to wash debts and still have the banks make money. The goal is obviously and simplistically to empower people to generate life in this time of growing scarcity. And to promote loving, healing, generating existences for the greater number.

Costa Rica has no army. It does have a peace commitment, no guns or few guns and the feelings among people as we explore the possibility that a commitment to peace permeates commerce, schools, homes and more. High into the forests with the streams and rushing rivers, or along the coasts that edge this tiny country, a couple of times larger than tiny Belgium. I loved my time in tiny Costa Rica. and the greatest gift for me besides the wonderful work we did, was that there are many sensitive and beautiful people from all over the world contributing evolution into the world… I basked in the pools of many languages in unity. I sat there entranced at times.

And I add my favorite making a difference line…

SHIFT Blessings Infuse our species with LOVE

Life and death, fear and trauma, client’s going through their challenges with money and loss… I thought about it all today. Suddenly so many people are being tested – life and as we know is a boiling pot of unexpected events, both good and bad.

Wandering through my ideas of The Shift this morning, I “know” the importance of rating love more highly. We need to give it more value than money so we can lift one another. But we must first make the choice to love ourselves.

Thinking about Santa Claus, the “naughty or nice guru”, loading his sleigh right around the calendar corner, or the old paradigm Gods – it is hard to love the self and hard to just get gifts because you are… you are BEING… you are a HUMAN BEING… a human experience that challenges whoever you are to express true spirit. We just aren’t trained to love ourselves, are we?

And I think about love. What is love? How do each of us express love? Is it really through a panicky shop for gifts that may be scorned by the recipient? …gifts that often represent duty and fear of not being enough?

We have shifts of our own. It is the humungous loss and challenge which is deepening and transforming who you are and what you value. You are not alone, the world is experiencing the same thing as the revelations continue through Scrooge, the deceptions, the conscriptions to buy buy buy cheaper cheaper cheaper… – value is rapidly sliding down hill.

I wonder how things would be if we marketed love, self-love, care for one another, and forgiveness with the same vigor as our violent television shows and video games. I wonder what it would be like if we weren’t so afraid to really love each other. We are so afraid of attachment, and loss, and the thought of not being able to keep up with the undercurrent’s checks (both kinds) and balances.

TV, movies, video games etc., etches our kids’ brains with efficient ways to kill, to be watchers, and to strategize. What if they taught love and the qualities of win-win? Like the improv expansion tools that teach our children that they can be empowered by empowering themselves. Let’s show concern for that message and teach our collective consciousness what Tiny Tim says in A Christmas Carol, “Bless us all, everyone!”

I was listening to NPR today as I cogitated love and the SHIFT while asking my guides if we could reach for this clarity of love. There was a piece on Leonard Cohen, his song Halleluiah was sung by such a broad spectrum of performers all with their own unique interpretations. The lyrics were discussed, references to the word being the music of time (i.e. Made flesh?) and how the human experience in all its foibles is divine. Then there were short bits of Suzanne, A Bird on a Wire, That’s No Way To say Goodbye, and so many more of his chant like poetic gifts. Listening I wept and wept. Knowing that we are all love, the surges of loving feelings moved me. Wouldn’t it help to better share and value our experiences?

Engaging The Shift

As we continue to engage the whitewaters of The Shift I am trusting that our Guides have their Super PACs going on. Can we meet the promise of these times so that we may bring human consciousness up?

We have been taught from many sources that the mass consciousness is simply an out picturing of our own internal belief systems. We are programmed to let inside feelings of self-doubt, self-protection, and self-arrogance based on our social status or financial worth incorrectly dominate our world.

I am aware of the power of witnessing – witnessing myself, witnessing the mind, both collective and individual, and being completely entranced by the gloss. I watch the media “spin” pitch hard balls at the election bat trying to buy our minds. “Weapons of mass distraction,” says Swami Beyondanda. He is a brilliant muse in Spontaneous Evolution along with Bruce Lipton, the author of Biology of Belief, and Gramma Sez, aka Serene Stevenson. They all preach for us to observe the ways in which we are distracted from truth.

Recently I was forwarded an email from a client whom I consider to be a wonderful being, someone who is normally kind, giving, and full of growth. But this forward was all about illegal aliens whose angry children are supposedly wasting the food provided to them by our schools. The email postulated that this free lunch system is breaking the country and suggested that similar “hot topic” issues like Medicare, social security, and gay marriage are endangering our country’s sacred institutions.

Hey! Have you read that Romney’s father arrived in this country a poor immigrant and spent years living off of welfare programs and grants just to get himself going? Surprise surprise!

Some of my Canadian friends are astounded at our news reports – who marries who consistently out shines real issues like bank corruption, greed and global swindling. Emails warn of Obama as the anti-Christ… a multi-billion dollar spin from the far Christian Right factory that started with his reign in 2008. Hhhmmmm… can this be trusted? “Consider the source” is a rule we are taught as children but often forgotten as we progress into adults. Our country is the richest, most powerful country in the world, yet ranks only about 57th amongst nations when it comes to caring for its own people.

I often muse that we are like tent caterpillars… you know, billions of them are clustered together in webby tents strung between tree branches. When a few move, the entire structure moves. We are like them, housed in a sticky vibrational goo of the status quo, playing and endless game of tug of war with our marketed thinking. Unlike the tent caterpillars, we don’t need to stay there. As people living in a high society bursting with individual choices and freedoms, we can evolve if we so choose. We can push the vibrational envelope, kick our proverbial feet hard, and rise to a higher vibration. Change the energy and you change the reality.

Multi-dimensional levels of our own potential for thoughts and feelings stretch way out into the universes. Let’s wake up to the magic of stepping beyond the limitations of our vibrational tent of the third dimension. We can begin by taking the time to recognize how the “out there” emanates from “in here”. The more we become aware of our ability to release fears, attachments, and judgments, the more we can emanate that release, lifting ourselves and others from enslavement by our internal struggles. Sounds “out there”, doesn’t it? But becoming conscious of oneself and surrendering to Higher Wisdom brings the love out. It is an adventure in magic.

I return to the forward email about the angry kids who are wasting food and bringing this great country down in the process and I pray that our consciousness unfolds, that the nurturing of life and the planet will take a lead role in our own personal choices. I pray that the spin judgments that keep us too defended to love one another, too defended to empower one another, too busy for win/win, to be infused with grace. The Shift… Heaven on Earth.
